I grew up in India. Thanks to my father's profession [defence services] I have been to most of the places in India and changed over 7 schools. I learnt about the cultural diversity and making new friends every 2 years was a part of my life. I not only developed interest in sports but also, became an avid reader. I have a passion for horse riding and swimming and my favourite pasttime is reading and listening to music.
I finished my schooling from M.G.D. Jaipur and did my graduation & post graduation from Symbiosis, Pune. While studying I did a lot of part time jobs as an event organiser, a copywriter with ad agencies and organised an exhibition in Pune for an export house based in Jaipur.
While doing my MBA I worked at SSC&B LINTAS in Client servicing division. I finished my M BA in Marketing & Finance and joined a Shipping company called P&O Nedlloyd as a Management Trainee. Within a year I was made the project mentor for a logistics and e commerce project . I also worked as an executive for business development for the logistics division at the same time. I was sent by the company to the University of Cranfield for a course in global logistics. Soon, I was made the Regional Manager - Western India. I also looked after the company's PR & CR. I designed advertisements and brochures for them as well as made the all India business plan and the budget for P&O Nedlloyd Logistics.
In 2004, I quit my job and set up a garment export house in Jaipur.
From 2005, I pursued my interest in writing and my articles have not only been published on the internet but also, in a few US & UK business and non business magazines.
